Meanwhile, in Code Town…

While waiting for my custom PCBs to arrive I decided to make the leap from Source 2007 to Source 2013. This gave me the opportunity to read up on the subject and understand the engine better, and as a result I have one of the pieces of information that FLIER measures (user pulse) entering the engine, storing itself in a useful place, and displaying in a nice vgui panel.

Tonight I'm having a nice think about all the progress I have made over the past year and a half. When my nose is down to the grindstone it is so easy to think that I am taking too long to get things done, but then I hit a cool milestone like this and I can't help but feel accomplished.

The next piece of work I would like to get done is soldering components onto the latest revision of prototypes. After that...maybe a demo game?
